Biodiversity Loss & Food Security

At a time of extreme biodiversity loss and subsequent concerns about global food security, scientists across the Norwich Research Park are working together to create solutions.

While scientists at the John Innes Centre and Norwich Institute for Sustainable Development aim to improve crops by conducting plant breeding programs and managing seed banks with an aim to help provide sustenance for the world in a changing climate, researchers at the Earlham Institute aim to develop new ways to protect the Earths biodiversity and thus the natural processes that we all rely upon to survive.
